Getting Started: An individual open learning course for anyone beginning work in Health and Social Care
  • This training and assessment pack covers all that is required by the Skills for Care 'Common Induction Standards'. The new worker can easily complete the training and assessment in the workplace within the 12 weeks maximum time allowed for induction.
  • This training and assessment package costs only £80 per person, which includes marking, standardisation and verification, certification of outcomes, helpline support, progress summaries, qualification updates, VAT, packaging and postage.

Getting Started: A training guide for managers and trainers who have anyone beginning work in Health and Social Care
  • This training pack contains all the materials a trainer or manager would need to run courses covering essential knowlege for new workers in social care. The training pack costs only £295 which includes electronic and hard copy, VAT, Package and postage.
  • Independent assessment can then be purchased through TASS UK for £22.98 per person. The assessment package includes marking, standardisation and verification, certification of outcomes, helpline support, progress summaries, qualification updates, VAT, packaging and postage.

Independent assessment for the common induction standards in social care
  • TASS UK also provides assessment only. The new worker does their induction training in the usual way in the workplace as arranged. TASS UK will provide an assessment book and external marking and internal verification services to show the worker has reached an acceptable level of understanding.
  • TASS UK will provide a certificate identifying the grade and listing the answers that reached the agreed standard. TASS UK can also provide the manager and trainer with a summary of outcomes (for 10 learners or more). This service costs just £22.98 per person

Get your own training course approved through TASS UK
  • TASS UK are able to approve an organisation's own induction training programme. Approval through TASS UK involves self assessment against the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards.
  • TASS UK will provide the materials to do this and support organisations through the process. There is a one off cost for this of just £95 (inc VAT).
  • Once a training programme is approved, learners can be assessed through the TASS UK Centre.
